Coating

Description

• Spread the product by trowel or floating rule (screed) to the thickness required.
• Level surface with a floating rule (screed).
• As the plaster begins to set use a metal feather edge rule (or diane, or cyclope, ...) to perfectly level the surface.

Tip

• When plaster thickness exceeds 8 mm (1/3 inch), in order to obtain a flat, level surface, utilize as many reference points as practical by means of traditional plaster methods (plumb lines, dots, screeds, i.e.).

Tools

• Metal plaster trowel
• Margin trowel (square or rectangular)
• Floating rule or screed (6 to 10 feet)
• Feather edge rule (or diane, or cyclope, ..)
• Dots the thickness of the coating (attention: take into account the thickness lost during grattage or coupage operation)
