1. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROCESS
1.1. Principle
System intended to carry out interior or exterior wall plastering with a mortar to apply directly on the load-bearing wall, or after a prime rough-trimming. The principal component is a mixture of gypsum plaster and lime, with or without aggregates, tinted in the mass or not.
1.2 Field of application
Eco Stuc Pierre is intended for the direct rough-casting of the building fabric. In particular, it cannot be employed in insulation systems assured from the exterior, nor can they be supported by secondary structures independent of the building frame (in those case, ask for our wire-meshed loaded systems). They cannot be employed with a final thickness inferior to 1 inch / 25 mm (exterior) or 1/2 inch / 12 mm (interior).
1.3 Constitution of the system
Eco Stuc Pierre is mixture of gypsum plaster and lime, with adjuvants, with or without aggregate loads, tinted or not.
The PG 15, PG 30, PG 50 and PG 100 are rough- trimming plasters, with adjuvants, with or without aggregate loads ( they are then called MG 15, 30, 50, 100), with fiber or not (PG 15 F, etc…).
2. IMPLEMENTATION
2.1.1. Selection of Eco Stuc Pierre to be used
By default, the proportion of lime, compared to the mix lime and plaster, will be 10 to 15%. It is possible to vary the proportion of lime, provided that the latter remains ranging between 5% and 40%, in weight.
Then one will choose the color (obtained by pigments).
In addition, one will choose the loads necessary to obtain the desired grain and textured (cf infra). This choice must be validated by the building owner or his representative.
2.1.2. Selection of aggregates
The sand must be calcareous or siliceous (for a papersanded finish, only calcareous). Its size must be less than 4 mm.
It has to be clean and dedusted, without clay content, conform to norm NF P 18-301.
Mixing ratio must be less than 1 volume of aggregates for 2 volumes of Eco Stuc Pierre. Considering classical bulk density of dry sand of 1,6, it means generally less than 1 for 1 in weight.
If dry, the sand can be added on site or, preferably, premixed with the product.
If wet, the sand must added on site.
If several differents sands are added, a dry, pre-mixed form is highly recommended to avoid mistakes.

2.3.2 Mixing
2.3.2.1 Dry pre-mix
Aggregates must be dry. Eco Stuc Pierre powder and the aggregates are p^re-mixed.
Water used will be clean and free from matter suspension. No additive or addition will be added to the product or mixing water.
Then Eco Stuc Pierre implementation can be done, either by hand, using a mixer or by spraying, with a suitable machine.
The mixing rates are adapted according type/amount of aggregates.
In any case, the mixing rate must realize a paste holding charge some 1 to 1 1/2 inch / 3 to 4 cm thickness.
In all the cases, the mix will have to be perfectly homogeneous, without clods.
2.3.2.2 On site mix
Due to variations in water content, measurement of the sand will be preferably made by volume.
Water used will be clean and free from matter suspension. No additive or addition will be added to the product or mixing water.
Eco Stuc Pierre implementation must then be done by hand, using a mixer : the mixing rate is approximately 55% in water weight compared to the weight of the powder.
Then the choosen aggregates can be added. Then a close re-mixing must be achieved.
Finally, one must obtain a paste holding charge some 1 to 1 1/2 inch / 3 to 4 cm thickness.
In all the cases, the mix will have to be perfectly homogeneous, without clods.
2.3.3 Coating
The plaster is applied in only one sole homogeneous layer of the desired thickness. In no case should this thickness be lower than 1 inch / 25 mm (in interior 1/2 inch / 12 mm), once the coating laid .
