Castle of Grosbois

In the park of the National Technical Center of Trot, the old Orangery was restored on the model of the castle itself (in the background).
The ambition was to re-use the plaster coating of origin, to recreate window surrounds of stuc brick, the frames in stuc pierre and the flocking of origin, as well as the belt courses that which results in particular in:
• to re-use the plaster material of origin of this facade
• to recreate a string course conform to the initial plans
• to recreate the "flocking" and the stuc brick of origin in identical fashion to the building in background
• to be in continuity of color with the cut stone on the other facades of the building

Plâtre.com, after study of the remaining vestiges, manufactured a stuc pierre identical to that of origin.
It color-matched and pigmented it from a cut stone sampled on the actual building and graded in different versions adapted to the various implementations:
• bench-run of cornice on site
• coating in full with cut-finish
The process was the same one for the stuc brick and the flocking which colors were also specific.

Products used:
• Fake-brick in Stuc Pierre 7023
• Fake-stone in Stuc Pierre 6533
• Flocking in PFD 5481
• Plaster of renformis: PG30
